So this is it... the big tourmaline that had been unwrapable until today. I bought this stone off ebay about 2 years ago, and I love it. The stone measures 17.5 mm tall x 12.5 mm wide x 7.5 mm deep and weighs 16.43 carats, originating from Minas Gerias Brazil. This stone has been an absolute pain in the butt to wrap, I've tried since I got it, without any good results, until today. It took me a bit longer than usual to wrap this one, came out taking around 4 hours. I really like how it turned out this time. I found out that round wire is a little easier to bend than thick square, which was what I had been using. It got marred so easily, using round for the securing wire was much easier. I plan on keeping this one, even after all it has put me through.
